1965 EPIPHONE BARD 12-String
General : 1965 Epiphone Bard in a condition I'd designate as VG to VG . Plays very well. Condition is as described below. I've seen these mid-60's Bards sell in the $500 to $800 range in varying conditions. My reserve is $249. I'm throwing in two brand new packs of strings.
Description: Natural finish, D-size, square shoulders, 15-7/8' lower bout, 3-3/4' to 4-7/8' body depth, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, 14 fret mahogany neck, 20 fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, large Brazilian rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle, tortoise plastic pickguard, 6-on-a-plate Kluson Deluxe tuners with white buttons, pearl vertical oval and Epiphone headstock inlays, white-bound body, b-w-b-w back purfling, b-w-b-w-b-w top purfling, ~24-3/4' scale, 2' nut width, basically the Epiphone version of the Gibson B45-12, built in Kalamazoo by Gibson, with original beat case.
CONDITION (Please Read): Very good playing condition. Note the following:
One slightly bent tuner -- does not affect functionality.
Two holes around soundhole (original purpose unknown -- see pictures)
Frets are typically worn, especially frets 1 through 4.
Fretboard shows wear/grooving in fret 1 through 4 area.
A few finish scratches and chips/dings.
