This is a hot rodded Ibanez S470 with EMG pickups. This is a 2005 model in a sparkly ice blue finish. Extra-slim mahogany body, a maple AANJ bolt-on neck with 22 jumbo frets, wave inlays, and HSH pickup configuration. Owned for only eight months, it is in an immaculate condition. The frets have virtually no wear, the finish is mint - there are no scratches, nicks, fading, or any imperfections (see pictures). The instrument is visually in an out-of-the-box condition.
Zero Resistance bridge is amazing, one of the most innovative tremolo systems on the market - it holds tune for weeks and has a delicate arming feel as it's based on ball bearings and not knife edges (the bearings will never wear away and the bridge will always stay smooth and return to perfect pitch.) The guitar is equipped with a tremsetter-like Zero Point system which makes restringing, tuning changes, and intonation easier.
There are a couple of modifications which have been made to the guitar. First of all, the miniature allen screws on the bridge saddles have been replaced with steel phillips screws to facilitate intonation further. Second, and most importantly, the stock Ibanez pickups have been replaced with a set of brand new EMG USA actives. The bridge has the EMG-81, middle single coil is the EMG-SA, and the neck humbucker is EMG-85 for ultimate play.
