I hate to have to do this, but circumstances dictate that I must sell this beautiful guitar at a price far less than it is worth. It was ordered from the Martin Custom Shop by Clay and Sheila Powers, current owners of World-Famous Charley's Guitar Shop, before the bought the place. I was lucky enough to pick it up from Clay soon after he bought the shop and have kept it in my smoke-free humidity and temperature controlled home since June of '03. If you go to the Martin Custom Shop catalog @ (http://www.martinguitar.com/catalog/PDF/Custom Shop.pdf ) you can see everything I am about to tell you about the guitar . It is a 14-fret dreadnought, 1-3⁄4' at the bone nut, with 1930's stlye (also called pre-war) forward-X CROSS BRACING: 1' from sound hole that helps give it a luscious tone. The back and sides are East Indian Rosewood, and the top is Sitka Spruce. The head square-solid, D-45 style, with gold Waverly tuners, with the rosette in Herringbone Pearl, Herringbone binding around the body, and top finished Vintage Toner. The back is two piece, with Herringbone backstrip and white binding, with white binding around the Ebony Style-45 solid hexagon, mother-of -pearl inlay neck. The Ebony belly shaped bridge is plain, as is the Pickguard. It comes in a #500-SERIES GEIB STYLE™form-fit case. It is set up for 13-guage strings, with a medium action, and is current strung with Pyramid Gold flat-wounds. I'll send a fresh set with the gu
