Fender Jeff Beck Strat Stratocaster 1991 in Great Cond
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-12-11)
Price : US $990.00
Up for auction is a 1991 Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster, which was the first year the Beck Strat's were made. It also is the model Jeff is still playing. The original Beck Strat sported the 'Baseball Bat Neck' which Jeff insisted upon and it adds sustain and a great feel to the guitar, I have small hands and never had a problem handling this guitar so don't be scarred. It also features the Wilkinson Rolling Nut the predecessor to the LSR, however Jeff is still using the Wilkinson today (see the Eric Clapton Crossroads festival footage from summer 07). The Wilkinson Nut is vital to producing some of the harmonic tricks Jeff uses for things from his later albums like 'Who Else.' If your looking for a Jeff Beck strat this is the one.....Fender changed it in the mid 90's to an LSR nut and a slightly smaller neck than again in the early 00's to an even thinner neck, HOWEVER this is the one Jeff still uses to this day. The guitar has its share of dings...nothing too serious or anything that affects playability, but it is definetly a used guitar. Comes with case shown below. Good Luck and Happy Bidding on this truely rare guitar. Serial #: N1024485
