1950's Kay archtop guitar

Price : US $207.50
Very cool 1950's era Kay archtop electric acoustic guitar. Guitar plays wonderful with no buzzing out on the high frets. Guitar is not fully original. Tune machines, bridge, strap knobs, tone and volume plate was added to the guitar. It has one pickup with 1 volume and 1 tone control knob. The joint where the neck meets the body is very tight. The headstock and neck have scratches, paint thats faded over the years and some minor dings but doesn't affect the playing action at all. Neck and Body feature white binding. There is a little crack on the back that has been sealed and fixed. Guitar does not come with a case. It will be professionally packaged and shipped when payment has cleared.

Correction, the plate was REPLACED with a new one because the plastic plate had broken. (The knobs and pots are original). The lipstick-tube pickup is original. Very playable guitar.

The pickup works, and the controls work fine. Like many Kays, the volume and tone are reversed from what we are used to.
I will ship worldwide, but the auction says otherwise. Please email or inquire with your highest bid information and I'll consider closing the auction and reopening it with international shipping.
