From Harmony Central website (The #1 Online Community For Musicians) Dove/10/1

This guitar is an original 1960s model copy of the Gibson Dove, and when I say copy I mean EXACT. This guitar plays like a DREAM, I would put it up against a real Gibson Dove anytime.

From what I've been able to research, this guitar was manufactured in Japan by a company called Dixon, which is no longer in business.

I have absolutely no dislikes about the tone that this guitar produces. It has an extremely rich and deep tone and it carrys for quite a distance.

The action is dead on. The strings sit perfectly level with the fretboard providing extreme playability.

It plays so smoothly, not a bit shy of the way a Gibson plays. I'd take it over the original gibson model any day.

I love everything about it, hate nothing at all. My favorite features are the beautiful dove pickguard and bridge inlays.

They were sued by Gibson for ripping off their guitar (It even has the Gibson logo on the headstock along with the Dixon name.)

This beautiful guitar has inlaid pearl parallelogram fret inlays and a beautiful dove shaped bridge with a pearl dove inlay on each side, both facing each other.

This guitar stays in tune like you would not BELIEVE! I'm talking this thing will withstand a good week or better without losing tune!

The headstock, dreadnought body, neck and sides are made of a very beautiful dark, rich
