A very nice 1990 Charvel Model six with the rare 'Desert Crackle' factory finish; original jackson active pick-ups with factory-installed Kahler locking tremelo and  neck thru construction. This guitar plays fantastic. The neck is dead straight and very playable. Other than some oxidation on a few bridge adjustment screws, this guitar is near mint. Includes the original Charvel Hardshell case pictured. I am the original owner and this guitar has been used in a climate controlled recording studio only.

Shipping: A simple flat-rate of $100 anywhere in the USA, no handeling or packing fees. International buyers pay actual shipping cost via Fed Ex International.

The Truth about Charvel's: Wayne Charvel made the brand famous with a unique line of custom superstrats he built in Azusa, California and then later, Glendora, California (only the PO Box was in San Dimas); however he was out of the picture by late 1978 after he sold the company to Grover Jackson (Bolt-on necks bore the famous 'San Dimas' nameplates, then after 1986 the nameplate of the Japanese manufacturers Fort Worth, Texas address, but they were not made in the USA). In 1980 Grover formed the 'Jackson' brand after designing the now famous 'Rhoads' model with Randy Rhoads that year. He simultaneously produced Jacksons and Charvels until 1989 when Grover Jackson sold Charvel to AMIC, the Japanese manufacturing company that had done such a superb job of building the Charvel Models 1-6%2
