Price : US $380.00
This is a 'Made in Japan' Fender 1962 Telecaster Reissue. The color is Candy Apple Red. I purchased the guitar used in 1990 from Guitar Center on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. I have played it about once a year since. It has some dings and scratches, but overall it is in very good shape. The worst of the dings is on the backside of the guitar. The good people of Guitar Center covered it with a piece of white tape when they sold it to me, as depicted in the photographs. I removed the tape for the first time today. I will post a photograph of it before the close of auction. It is smaller than a dime in diameter.
In preparing to sell the guitar, I took the neck off the body. The neck says, 'TLC-62B' and it is inscribed with the following date: 2/27/85. The body has the following inscription when the neck is removed: 'TLC-62BEX'.
The guitar has a 5 way switch.
I bought the guitar with the Original Floyd Rose Tremolo System installed. I do not know if the guitar came with this option, or if this was a modification performed by the previous owner. In any event, it looks original. The guitar has a bound body, and the craftsmanship and attention to detail is apparent throughout. The neck is in beautiful shape.
I do NOT have a case for the guitar. I will carefully wrap and ship the guitar at the buyer's expense anywhere in the lower 48 states, per the buyer's instructions.
Please email me ANY AND ALL questions before bidding.
