GIBSON B-45-12 1963 12 String Serial #87539
12 String Dreadnought from early 1960’s solid spruce top, round sound hole, tortoise pick guard, 2-stripe bound body/rosette, mahogany back/sides/neck, rosewood fretboard, with pearl dot inlay, rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle, trapeze tailpeice, blackface peg head with pearl split diamond inlay/logo decal, 6 per side nickel tuners, natural finish which has aged beautifully.
All original, there are few B-45-12 around in this condition. There is some checking of the finish as you would expect from a 40 year old instrument. One small crack is visible in the photos that is at the sound hole and extends to the rosette, ¼ inch in length, common in these babies. A small nick at the base of the head. That is about it, pretty amazing for an instrument of this age.
This was my first 12 string. Too many guitars, need to sell some. See my other items. This one will increase in value rapidly. Plays great too!
No reserve, starting price 649. $55 shipping and handling.
