Price : US $1,687.
1945 Martin O-17, great condition, all mahogany, chunky V neck,
rosewood fretboard, 1 11/16' nut, Martin short scale (24.9'), frets and
action just fine, neck straight as an arrow, no cracks or other
structural damage, one small through-finish rough spot where the waist
hits your knee, couple dings here and there, original open-back plastic
tuners that work fine...they've relic'd a bit (shrunk and yellowed) and
actually have no ferrules, apparently due to war-time metal scarcity.
Comes with non-original hardshell case.
Sweetest mahogany tone you'll ever hear, surprisingly big sound for
a small body (louder and fuller than OO's, OOO's), comfortable to play,
great for fingerstyle (esp. folk and blues), and mojo for days.
***7/22 added a bunch of new photos as per your requests...shot everything I can think of...as you can see, the neck tapers slowly into a full V at the neck pocket, the neck is straight, nut, bridge, and saddles all fine. You can see the rough spot on one of the side angle pics. To answer some other questions; the neck does not need to be reset, it's (dare I say) perfect. No refinishing done, only repair evidence is a reglued bridge and a strap button installed on the heel. I do ship international. Thanks for looking.
