For your consideration is a very nice pristine condition MIM Fender '72 Re-issue Telecaster Custom. The neck is a straight 25.5' scale one piece maple which is nicely figured. The bullet style truss rod is fully operational. The neck has been refretted with 21 medium-jumbo sized frets by a professional luthier. The original vintage sized frets were like new (the guitar has less than 20 hours playing time on it and has never left my smoke free house), but I did not like their smallish size. It's a lot easier to fret the note crisply with the medium-jumbos. The neck plate is a 3 bolt style with micro-adjustment. Additionally, I changed out the original 3 saddle compensated bridge for the more modern 6 separate block saddle style used on the newer American Standard Telecasters. This gives you much better intonation. However, the auction includes the original compensated bridge should you wish to re-install it. The pick-ups are the standard Fender humbucker at the neck and the typical Tele single coil at the bridge. Two volume and two tone controls with a three way switch. A excellent condition Gator hard sided case is included.
This is a very good looking tone machine free of any chips, nicks, bumps or buckle rash. There is some very light scratching on the pickguard.
