1960

1960's TEISCO KINGSTON SLIDE GUITAR!

WHAT DO I MEAN BY 'SLIDE GUITAR?!'...Well, this guitar doesn't have a truss rod, so Regular Intonation isn't very feasible...

BUT!...

It's:

*VINTAGE MID 1960's!
*It's Solid Mahogany!
*It has a Very Groovy Chrome Steel Pickguard!
*The Original Vintage Tuners TOTALLY WORK DECENTLY!

...I STOLE:

*The Pickup (for my prototype real wood Teisco Copy!)
*The cream colored plastic knobs.
*The Kooky Bridge

ALL YOU NEED TO BUY AND INSTALL IS THESE 3 THINGS:

*One Pickup (about $15-$30)
to fit inside the pre-cut chrome pickguard--
Strat, Lipstick or ?... type or similar slim single coil should do...

*2 Knobs ($6.00)

*1 Gibson Style Wraparound Bridge (about $20?)

**DRILL THE BRIDGE POST HOLES AT  1'-5/8ths from the 12th Fret!!!
(not where the old bridge was--that position NEVER worked!)

**WIRE THE PICKUP STRAIGHT TO THE VOLUME POT!!
(Volume Knob, Tone Knob and Jack all work good!)

WHA-LAH!
YOU NOW GOT A BADASS SLIDE GUITAR AS RAD AS ANY JIMMY PAGE DANELECTRO!!!

So...if it's such a rad idea, why don't I just do it myself?
...because I just built a killer slide guitar for myself before I got this and my ol' lady won't stand for it!
(so, if you got a good p
