1967 Yamaha G 80 Classical Guitar Very Good Condition
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2008-07-23)
Price : US $66.00
The item up for bids is a Yamaha Classical guitar. This guitar is a model G-80 and according to support at the Yamaha web site it was made in November of 1967. It has a spruce top with maple back and sides. A Rosewood fingerboard and a Nato neck. This guitar is in very good condition. The neck is straight and the action is nice. There is a scratch about 4 inches long on the back at the top of the body but it doesn't break through the finish. There are other marks but not many and they are not very noticible. I just installed new strings about two weeks ago and I have only played it one time since then for about 15 minutes. The wood has aged to a beautiful rich color and it has the tone of an instrument far more costly than it is. This would be a wonderful instrument to begin learning on or for the more experienced player. Guitar teachers will tell you that most people trying to learn to play quit because the strings hurt their fingers but with nylon strings that isn't a problem. Inside the sound hole is a lable that says Nippon Gakki so I believe that meens it was made in Japan. I am going to start out the bidding at a very low price only because I am not really sure I want to sell it and I want to protect myself in the event someone tries to get too good of a deal. There is no case, I never needed one because I never took it out of my house. I will only take PayPal and I can only sell to the lower 48 states. Shipping will be $35.00 and I am sorry but I can not accept any returns.
