1982 Ibanez Artist AR50 Great Playing and Sounding Guitar, SN G824XXX.

U.S. lower 48 state only auction.

This AR50 is original except for the volume and tone knobs and the switch tip, these have been replaced with Gibson parts.

Original Gibraltar locking bridge, Quick-change tailpiece, Super Seventies pickups, Velve Tune tuners, Artist truss rod cover, pots and pickup selector. All cover plates and hardware are present and original including the big one that goes inside the control cavity.

These things all add up to make one of the best sounding LP type guitars ever made. The fretboard is wide, 1-11/16” at the nut and very comfortable.

Back of the headstock reads “G824XXX Crafted in Japan”, back of control cover reads “ Built by the proud people of Ibanez Japan”.

Condition: All pots and switches work as they should nothing iffy or modified. This guitar plays well and stays in tune. The back of the neck is clean with 3 small indentations that can be felt around the 12th fret. A few chips at the top of the headstock. Pickup screws have some light rust on them. 1 Fair sized scuff in the top above the bridge goes th
