Cool 1930s Regal Archtop Cutaway Acoustic.
This beautiful Chicago Made Regal Acoustic Archtop Cutaway sports a beautiful Solid Spruce Top, and Flamed Maple Back and Sides and Big V-Shape Neck requiring no truss-rod as it's dead straight. Cool Star Inlay at the first position is unique, with single snowflake at the third, double dots at the fifth and twelfh positions, and triple dots at the fifth and seventh positions. Check out the black & white striped binding on the the double bound body, and the Black Painted Cutaway and Head Rear ala L-5. The guitar is 16' at the lower bout, 11' at the upper bout, 3 1/2' deep on the side. It weighs only a scant 4lbs 2 oz. Light and resonant!!! The guitar has no top cracks, nor body cracks, nor repairs nor any surprises. The pickguard is original, but does have a crack at the top screw. It's a nicely made, nice sounding, nice looking Archtop Acoustic with a Cutaway. Big Neck still has nice low action. Tone is clear and fairly loud and the spruce top has a nice tone.
