If I understand the serial numbering system of early Ibanez I believe this is a 1997 RG 560 Manufactured in Japan. I've had this guitar for probably 10 years and have taken very good care of it, as I try to do to all my equipment. I have made the difficult decision to get rid of all the equipment I don't use very often. This is a wonderful sounding and playing guitar and if it weren't for the fact that I have an original RG 550, which is staying, this one wouldn't be for sale. I just love the feel of the original Ibanez necks! I've played some newer Ibanez and they just feel different to me. I have added Sperzel locking tuners, which I do to all my guitars, and replaced the factory pickup with a Semour Duncan JB pickup. There is a small ding above the tremelo and some paint chips around the input jack. I think the color is gunmetal grey. Plenty of fret life left. I have all the original parts upon request and also the tremelo arm. The guitar also comes with a double gig bag, not pictured. Email me with any questions or with requests for more or specific pictures. Sale is strictly for U.S. Payment by paypal only. Thanks for looking!
I have been informed by a member that the serial number actually shows it to be manufactured in 1987. Sorry for the mistake.
