1946 Martin D-28 Acoustic Guitar Original Herringbone Serial number 969XX. Very clean and well kept condition. Original finish and parts, bridge, tuners, maple bridgeplate, nut, and pickguard. Action is nice and comfortable with no fret buzzing, looks like possible neck set was done. The frets look like they were dressed or resurfaced, but have plenty of playing time left. It looks like someone's initials were on the guitar at sometime like Elvis Presley did with stick on letters. Old Gibson case has been with the guitar since it was bought new. Email me for my phone number if you are serious. Buyer pays shipping.

As for cracks in the wood, I see nothing that goes through the wood only scratches in the finish on the back and lower bottom near the end pin which is missing, and there are no repaired cracks. I added some new pictures in outside light so that you could see the real color.  A great investment guitar that will increase in value quicker than your stocks will and you can play it.
