Gibson Guitar 1949 Gibson Guitar 1949 Gibson Guitar 1949

This guitar has one of the sweetest tones you could ever ask for.  The tone is very mellow and has a strong bottom voice.  After extensive research, it has been determined this guitar is an F hole 1949 Gibson Acoustic.  Serial Number is 2610 18.  If anyone finds an error I will gladly correct the dating immediately.  The action on the frets are very fast and easy on the fingers.  This guitar comes with the orginal De Armond Guitar Mic (pickup) made in Toledo, OH.  Facing the guitar on the edges there are a couple small dings at 2 O'clock and 5 O'clock.  They aren't very obvious but they do exist.  Because of it's age, the tuning key knobs have became discolored & cracked.  There is one knob missing.  I can still tune it with my fingers only!
I have played guitars since 1957 (high dollar guitars), and this guitar performs paramount to any one I have ever played including tone.
I couldn't put a value on this guitar but it has been appraised very high.
My reason for selling is simply to obtain a D-55 Guild Acoustic Electric.  I played a D-55 on the road for years and that's what I want laying around the house to play once in a while.  I'm on disability now and can't afford to just go out and buy one anymore.
The bridge, edges of the body, fret board are all in excellent condition, with a straight neck. 20 Frets.  The intonation is perfect.  It's an eye catcher to say the least.  This guitar needs Tender Loving Care and is not a toy, so pl
