Mid-70's Alverez 5059 Autumn Herringbone Dreadnaught
It has a spruce top (laminated), rosewood sides & back (two pieces), herringbone inlay around the soundhole & top, rosewood fingerboard & bridge, dark tortoise shell pickguard. Inlaid mother-of-pearl fret stops and head. Perfect copy of Martin D-28 - and plays like one. Excellent, professional set-up. Sounds and plays wonderfully. Perfect for blues and jazz and Tony Rice-style Bluegrass. "Hard" backpack/gig bag included ($75 value). Great for on-the-road or casual week-end axe. Why pay $2,000 - 3,000 for a similar Martin? Photos available upon request.

I own this very model and I wouldn't sell it for a thousand even though mine is almost like new condition. I've own Gibsons and Guilds and they cant beat the playability of my Alvarez

Please send photos if possible. Is there any obvious damage to the guitar? What is the condition of the neck and frets? Thanks very much!
