This is the first acoustic guitar sponsored by Playboy magazine.

The Pearl Black Acoustic features nickel Grover tuners and plenty of pearl inlay, including the rainbow mother-of-pearl PLAYBOY logo on the headstock, bunny logo on the 12th fret, and alternating rainbow mother-of-pearl bunny/bow tie inlays as the rosette.

Only 600 of these beauties were made, and they came with a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by Hugh Hefner as well as a Clayton Playboy pick and a bunny logo gig bag.

The body is constructed of mahogany with a spruce top and rosewood fretboard.

This model listed for nearly $800 and were tagged originally for $499, exclusively for Guitar Center. As supplies dwindled and the remaining units remained unsold, I managed one for $199 and a second one for $99--both heavily fingered from 'test drives' but which cleaned up nicely after a detailing.
