1960's Sho Bud Maverick Pedal Steel Guitar with Case
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2008-08-20)
Price : US $520.00
You are bidding on a Late 1960's or early 1970's Sho Bud brand Lap Steel Guitar. Maverick Model # 6152. Inspected by Shot Jackson himself! Comes with nice clean Original Case.
Strong Original Pickup reads a massive 10.89 Ohms.
Fingerboard has a small chip off of it on one end, as you can see in the photos, but that in no way affects it's playing. This thing works great, it just needs some strings!
A little back story on the Lapsteel: Buddy Emmons moved from Detroit to Nashville when he was just 13 to join the Little Jimmy Dickens Band, and it was in Nashville that he met Shot Jackson at the WSM radio show the Friday Frolic. Later they both created the Sho Bud Guitar Company in his Garage!
Shipping will be a flat $30 to the CONTINENTAL USA only. I will not accept offers from anyone outside of the CONTINENTAL USA.
