2 Penco 12 string acoustic guitars project
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2008-08-20)
Price : US $62.01
OK. After 15 years of collecting parts for this guitar, I've come to the conclusion that I am a pack rat and have neither the time, energy or need for this project. I'm clearing out my workshop and, I admit it, need space more than filler. I am also not a luthier (an expert uses a Skill saw. I use a hack saw). Included in this auction is 2 Penco A-22M 12 string acoustic guitars. Both necks are in great shape. Solid and straight. They both require a lot of work but with the 2 of them, all the parts are there. The only thing missing is a nut. The first had a broken back (which I removed), with little damage to sides and front. The bridge was broken off and the body damaged. I set wood strips into the hole and prepared it to be re-attached. The second had an extra bridge (no longer there) attached behind the original. The tension from this second bridge has made the top dip. The bridge has been pulled off and glued back on (badly). There are several tiny holes drilled to mount 2nd bridge. I have tried to describe these guitars as accurately as possible. If I have left anything out, the pictures should fill in the blanks. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them before you bid. These items are sold as is. Shipping and handling to continental US only, $40.00. International bidders pay actual shipping cost.On Aug-13-08 at 17:36:50 PDT, seller added the following information:
I just realized that the picture of both guitar fronts together is missing. The one with the tuners is the one without a pickguard.
