Here is a gorgeous Fender American Series telecaster from '07, that I recently bought, brand new. I hand picked it from a big group of teles, and it has 'the magic.' The neck is sweet as honey and has that smooth-as-butter feel to its back. I have added major upgrades to the guitar, in the form of Fender '52 tele 'Original Vintage' pickups and a Glendale blackguard steel-rolled bridge (with a notch on the high side so you can pick freely) and a set of Glendale 'twang' saddles (2 brass and one aluminum). '52 tele pups are just perfect for this guitar, and if you have not experienced the Glendale stuff, well, it makes a huge difference for a tele. This tele is a 3-tone sunburst alder body, with a great grain pattern and extremely well done burst pattern, and is in basically mint condition. There are no nicks, dings, or anything on the guitar. It has only been played by me and I have a very light touch. It has been played about 10 hours. I just pulled the plastic off the pickguard a couple weeks ago. The guitar has a great set-up and a tremendous tele sound. Original hardshell case included. Edited to add: I installed the bridge and saddles right out of the box, and have not intonated it. Glendale bridges/saddles have a reputation for allowing perfect intonation.
