This is a © 1940 antique Hensel Artist guitar that is in excellent playable condition. Top is solid spruce, back, & sides are solid mahogany. Neck is 1 piece mahogany.Bridge and fingerboard are rosewood. This guitar is X braced. A bone nut and saddle have been installed.This guitar is set up nicely and plays well. Finish is original as far as I can tell with some overspray at the heel. This guitar has normal wear and tear for it's close to 70 years on earth. There is a repaired side crack as seen in pic#7. This guitar has a nice tone and is quite loud for it's size ( about 00 Martin or Gibson LG/LOO). Lends itself particularly well to ragtime and finger style blues.Comes with a new hardshell case.
