You are bidding on a very nice 1958 Martin 0-15. This guitar plays well and sounds great. The action is medium, with the distance between the bottom of the low E string and the top of the 12th fret measuring 3.5mm.  The saddle height above the bridge is 2mm.  I am selling this guitar that I purchased last year as an experiment to find the perfect Martin model for my style of play. I also purchased an 00-18 and compared the two guitars for tone and comfort in playing. My conclusion? I like the tone of both guitars, but the 00 size is just too big for a skinny guy!  Also, I want a guitar with a wider neck at the nut, so I will be looking for a slotted head 0 size. I am sure that you are all very interested by now!  As for the condition, there are no cracks, or gouges, but there is normal wear for a 50 year old guitar.  There are a couple of scrapes through the finish as revealed in the photos.  The pointed end of the pickgaurd is lifting slightly. I did notice that when the guitar strings are at normal tension, there are tiny hairline cracks in the bridge between the peg holes. The saddle is quite low, so this may be a contributing factor. As far as I know, everything is original, including the case (according to the previous owner's best guess). I like this guitar, and would not be selling it if the neck were just an 1/8 of an inch wider.
