Top of the line of the early 1970's ''Peavey Vintage'' line of tube amplifiers, Model 601 in Excellent Condition.  Serial Number: 4A-36924.  Made in the USA.

Great looking, well maintained one-owner amp; no tears in the Tolex and the grill cloth is 100% intact.

Amp boosts a powerfull 110 watts RMS.  2 separate channels.

Original tubes were replaced recently by 4 6L6GC Mesa Engineering tubes.  Amp has the large original analog reverb tank and 6 x 10'' CTS speakers.

The most remarkable feature of this amplifier is ITS AMAZING DEPTH OF TONE.  This is one of the sweetest sounding amps I have ever played and I guarantee you will be looking at your guitar in disbelief.  Has to be one of the sweetest sounding jazz and/or blues amps on Earth.  Likewise for acoustic-electric work.

Amp has unbelievable clarity with massive crunch and plentiful headroom when you need it.

Pure Joy to play through.

Ships to points East of the Mississippi unless quoted otherwise in advance.

Sold as-is, all sales final.  Payment due within 48 hours of auction close.

Good Luck this is a No Reserve Auction on an American Tube Classic.
