I bought this Kramer new in 1987. It's was made in either 1986 or 1987...I'm not sure. It's a right handed guitar that I played for only a couple of years & then it became my extra guitar sitting in its original hard shell case taking up space. The neck is solid maple & the frets have little wear. The guitar has a two-tone pearl finish ...it changes according to the light and angle (see image). The original case has an option to lock it, but I lost the key years ago.
I just got it back today from a guitar tech who gave it a complete tune up, including:
Deoxidized the pots
Set the intonation & balanced Floyd Rose tremolo (completely level - see image)
Put new 10 gauge strings on it
Set the fine tuners in the middle of their range
All parts are original.
There is one small ding in the finish (see image) on the lower right face. It was the 80's & with all that hairspray...I don't remember. The tech said that it can be fixed. Plays really well...the tech and I had fun doing dive bombs with the Floyd Rose tremolo. It's a sweet guitar!
