For sale this nice blonde Fender Squier 51 , with a black pickguard. I bought it new, a few years ago, with 2 other Squier 51. I hand picked them at Sam Ash, trying every one they had on display at that time. Today, I am putting the 2 blondes for sale (eBay auction # 160277401082) because I have too many guitars.

I listed this guitar as ''used'' but it is in excellent condition. The guitar has seen little play, there are a few light pick marks on the pickguard and a few hairline marks on the gloss but no paint chips, or breaks or damage.

I bought this particular guitar because of its figured maple cap neck. It also sports a slight tint that somehow gives it the appearance of a vintage neck that has been played for 40 years. I replaced the factory chrome bridge with a new black bridge from GFS; it's a great upgrade not only because it's finish, but primarily because it allows a better intonation and widens the space between the strings. If you play with a pick and also 2 fingers or if you have bigger hands than the folks in Korea or China, the extra spacing between the strings make is more comfortable. The original bridge and screws are included. I also replaced the original white pickguard with a black guard... no, its not a '53 Tele... I was dreaming. The guitar plays well, and the electronics works as it should. Its a two piece maple neck, and the body is probably made of basswood. The guitar was made in Indonesia. The frets' edges have been lightly smoothed with an extra fine sanding brush. It will need new strings.
