Hi, this is a Yamaha FG 200, Made in Japan. Spruce Top, Mahogany Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck, Bone Nut and Saddle, Tall frets, Buffalo Horn Bridge pins, Rosewood Fretboard and Bridge, these all look to be solid woods. I don't know the year it was built most of the numbers have faded, but it looks like a 1973. She has been played a lot, pick wear on the top between the pickguard and bridge, pickguard is lifting around the edges. No cracks or repairs that I can see. This guitar has had several sets of different tuners because I can see the screw holes where they were mounted. It has a good set of Grovers on it now. This guitar has lots of volume. I play open and capo chords, bluegrass music and it has a deep bass with equal sound across the strings. Put the capo on and you will not have to retune. Action is Medium with a little room left on the bone saddle. Currently strung with Med. strings. Great intonation! She Rings and Chimes like a '67 D-18. It has more volume than my '47 D-18. If you bid and win this guitar and don't like it I will refund your money, all I ask is you pay to ship it back. Has her share of nicks and scratches, no breaks or cracks, a well played guitar. The old case has seen it's better days , missing the handle but the latches work and does the job. Will be insured for the amount sold for at the end of the auction. Original bridge pins will be included. Any questions, I'll be glad to answer. Thanks for looking.
