up for auction is a beautiful KENT classical guitar with a great case . This guitar is superb. In my opinion it plays and sounds pretty good even with the old strings. The guitar sits at 38 3/4'' inches tall and 14 1/4 inches wide at the widest point at the bottom of the body and 3 1/2 inches thick. I'm not sure on what type of wood(s) were used to make this. this guitar has 18 frets 19 if you count the second headnut. the fretboard has what look to be mother of pearl dots but i am unsure they are also at the 5th, 7th, 10th, and 12th frets instead of the usual 5th,7th, 9th, and 12th frets It has the natural soundboard with the sunburst sides, back and neck kind of reminding me of my old 58' Kay guitar.  I believe it to be from the early 70s or late 60s (it may be older) but this is due to my experience in playing older guitars. i have a classical guitar myself from the 60s similar to this and i have also played a variety of older guitars. I also believe this guitar to be made in Japan but there is no stamping to prove this, i just have seen and played older Japanese guitars and this seems to be built in a simliar fashion. the only markings on this guitar are the Kent logo on the headstock, the Carmencita logo on the inside and the numbers ''27439'' on the inside close to the soundhole. ANY information anyone has concerning this instrument would be much appreciated. The guita
