This is a Peavey, EVH Wolfgang Series electric guitar. The EVH Wolfgang series was designed in conjunction with Edward Van Halen. Van Halen, who had great success with the Peavey 5150 amplifiers he also helped develop, named the guitar model after his son. Eddie Van Halen’s autograph is burned into the heal of the headstock. This guitar weighs 7.6 lbs.
This guitar features an offset double cutaway bound basswood body, arched quilted maple top, bolt-on graphite-reinforced bird’s-eye maple neck, 22-fret bird’s-eye maple fingerboard with black dot inlays, 25 ˝ inch scale, Peavey Floyd Rose double locking tremolo system with a D-Tuna dropped D tuning knob, tremolo arm, 3-per-side headstock, chrome tuners, chrome hardware, 2 Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups, volume/tone controls, 3-position pickup selector and a transparent Sunburst finish.
Includes original Peavey “Guitar Final Inspection Checklist” dated 8/20/97 and Peavey Operating Guide. Used good condition. Checked and tested – play great. A few small dings and a chip to the top. Many small blemishes on the back. Tremolo spring cover/plate missing. Original Peavey hardshell/molded guitar case – damaged on bottom – two feet are missing.
