Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite - Original Prototype
Gibson produced the Les Paul Custom Lite between 1987 and 1990.  It featured a thinner body for light weight, a contoured body for comfort, and a coil tap  switch for the pickups.
This guitar is the factory prototype produced in 1986 with a highly flamed carved maple top in Iced Tea Sunburst.  It is in excellent condition, has no fret wear and no ''issues''.
The guitar is completely original and has never been modified.  A rare and collectible,  great sounding,  great playing, comfortable guitar with the original Gibson Protector case.
The Guitar will be shipped for a flat fee of $50, plus insurance.
I've really enjoyed owning this guitar and know that you will, too.

The lites were introduced at the JANUARY 1987 NAMM show. There were 12 proto-types made for the show.Re-designed by Gibson Luthier Matthew Klein. THIS one I believe was the first one made. If you have one of the other 11. Then you really have something there. They will have late 1986 stamps with the custom shop proto decal. It was a limited run. The early production models from 1987 ones are worth the most.
