Hey, so i just got one of these for free from a "friend" but its missing pickups, a bridge, and a nut... is this guitar worth the work i'd have to put into it?

Friendship Indiana at the late spring flea market in 1990 I found a Les paul copy of a gold top with a chunk out of the body called a Cortez paid 75 bucks and was won a of my fav guitars its long gone but found a like new one on ebay for a lil under 500 bucks is that too much?????

I too have a Cortez Les Paul Copy, mine is a gold top, I bought it about the same time, in Pennsylvania.
I also do not want to sell mine.

haha yeah i hear ya! i got a cortez lespaul for a couple hundred bucks a few years ago. (i think its a 76?) and my mom almost made me return it too!
