1996, Fujigen, Japan, a non-export model. Black body with purple spray binding (or purple body w/black spraying in the middle - "DW" means "Deep Wine"), resoncast lightweight body, very nicely done maple neck with 24 jumbo frets and white binding, sharkfin inlays, cool reverse headstock w/mirror Ibanez logo, bolt-on-neck, original Edge tremolo which works excellent, 5-way selector, 2 knobs (vol. + tone).

This guitar looks amazing from every angle. And the sustain is very good for a resoncast body, actually I wouldn't know the difference between this and others if some people didn't tell me. Resoncast is actually made from real wood but has some other ingredients : it is made from wood particles (probably leftovers), pressed in high pressure (+ adding some kinda glue), then cut in the shape of a guitar body. Ibanez came with this formula during mid-90's, I think because obviously it was even cheaper than basswood (which resoncast is very similar to). Or maybe they were experimenting, I am not sure. But guitar has very nice sustain and I am really happy with the overall sound, plus it is very light.

Guitar has HSH configuration and came with stock humbuckers, I am not sure about the model numbers. I swithced the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan SH-13 (Pantera's Dimebag signature pickup) and the middle one with a SD again.
