This is a 1979 Peavey T-60 that I rebuilt. It came to me gutted, so I
rewired the whole thing. It has original everything except Pickups,
Wiring, Pots, and Knobs. I rewired the phase switch to actually coil
tap the neck pickup. The replacements pickups are Carvin M22s. A
Vintage in the neck and a Treble in the Bridge. This is a very sweet
sounding set of pickups and combined with the chunky T60 provides a
wide array of sounds. As I said the ''out of phase'' switch is actually
now wired to ''coil tap'' the neck pickup, so you can get a sweet single
coil neck sound from this guitar. This has a fast playing neck and overall is just a rocking guitar!
This guitar shows the wear of
an almost 30 year old guitar, so don't expect perfection. There is in certain light ''buckle rash'' and a few edge nicks here and there. The most noticeable are a very tiny nick in the neck about the 8th fret on the back of the neck and some little nicks around the 4th and 5th fret near the high ''E'' string and some slight discoloration at the body curve (See pics). I love this guitar and I am only selling it because I
hardly get time to play anymore. I have three electrics and that is
two too many right now! Message me if you want more detailed pics.
Also included, as you can see in the picture, is the Original Hard Shell Case and basic black strap as seen in the picture.
