Vintage GUILD D25 acoustic 1982 BLUE color

I'm selling my 1982 Guild D25 acoustic dreadnought done up in rare factory blue color. This road warrior has seen its share of playing, so if you're looking a closet classic or mint item, look elsewhere. This guitar is full of MOJO! Its got its share of dings and whatnot, but is structurally completely sound. Look at the string angle picture--its got a great bright sound, but still round and mellowed from age. The finish is checked all over (these are not wood splits, just finish) and bits of it have come off where the neck meets the body (see pics). A bone nut and saddle were added fairly recently, and a broken pickup removed. An aluminum strap holder is now in the butt end where the pickup jack was--its tight but will come out if you wish to install a new pickup. This thing sounds great, and will make someone a great songwriting friend. Other than the nut, saddle and pins (maybe?), its all original. Action is 4/32'' at the 12th fret, only 1/32'' more than standard Martin factory action. Comes with worn original case, done in matching blue furry interior. Why buy a new made in China Guild or a D4 or DV4 when you can get a vintage one for the same or less? This is the same type of guitar Ryan Adams used to write and record his first two solo albums. If you know him, you know its sound. Ask questions--I've been here almost ten years, 100% positive feedback, so bid with confidence--ASK ALL QUESTIONS NECESSARY TO BE HAPPY! Item will be carefully boxed and shipped in its case via Fed EX for $35, continental US only.
