Price : US $932.00
1986 Rare Bond ElectraGlide. Black carbon graphite body, digital LEDs. Bond guitars were built in the UK by Scotland's Andrew Bond, and were financed and endorsed by The Edge (U2's guitarist). This is a very inovatived guitar with no frets but uses stepped ridges. The body and neck are made entirely of Graphite in the same tradition as Stienberger. And a digital LED readout. Despite all of this the company lagged and closed in 1986 with production amounts limited (understandably), making them very rare. This example is from my personal collection and comes with the case and power supply. The instrument is in 9.5 condition, the only thing keeping it from being perfect is one of the dot fret markers , 7th fret, is missing and the amp cord that connects the power supply to the guitar. I know its something simple but I am not an electronics expert and will not risk causing damage by rigging a cord, because its not a typical amp cord. I wasn't even aware it was missing it's been a closet classic for years. I am the second owner, I purchased it from the original owner in 1989 and played it every once in a while just because it looks cool lit up on stage. I guarentee the guitar works but will leave it up the new owner to locate a cord or have your Tech make you one. Please do not bid of you cannot pay promtly. I must raise money to purchase a house and I have little time to waste. Payment due within 5 days of auctions end. Absolutley NO ZERO BIDDERS unless you contact me first.
