This is a classic beginner axe in tobacco sunburst (which in no way is an endorsement of tobacco products!), made of genuine solid wood that once was part of a tree. Honestly, I don't know what wood they use.
Single humbucker pickup, volume and tone knobs. Bolt-on neck, 24.75'' scale
with rosewood fretboard, dot inlays. Chrome hardware.
This was used over the course of a year, generally in 15-20 minute segments, by my 10-year-old, under as adult as the supervision gets in my house.
We had a truss rod adjustment done at the local guitar shop. I replaced one of the volume/tone knobs, which come off pretty easily and roll away, because they're round.
The action is set a bit high, but you can bring it down when you replace the strings, which you should do, because the string people need jobs just like you do, and it hasn't been played much of late, since now Junior Rocker is old enough to play dad's overpriced guitars.
The amp is a screaming 12 watts and has a mighty four-inch speaker.
The volume stops just one digit short of 11!
Also there's: treble, middle, bass, a headphone jack and that little overdrive button that, once discovered by anyone under 18, will stay pressed forever.
Made in China, a genuine Olympic Games nation!
It is what it is, folks: a very inexpensive beginner's guitar pack that you can steal right here, without going to jail like you would if you stole it from a guitar shop.
Shipping will be $35, which I understand takes a bit of the edge off
