Sho Bud Pro ll Custom Pedal Steel Guitar
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2008-10-22)
Price : US $1,875.
This Sho-Bud Pro ll Custom is a 1970's hex shaft undercarriage with double raise double lower changer and is in great shape with normal vintage wear and tear. This guitar was the prototype used when Sho-Bud was designing the Super-Pro and was played and owned by some of Nashville's most famous players. Note the unique headstock on the lower deck. This was the first instrument Sho-Bud built removing the ''dog ear''. The guitar plays and sounds great. Eight foot pedals and six knee levers. Email for copedant setup. Tuning machines replaced on both necks one year ago. Fingers on C-6 Neck rebuilt one year ago. E-9 fingers in good shape. The finish is a rich dark golden sunset on birdseye maple and has retained it's beauty despite it's age. It is not without normal nicks and dings and shows the typical lacquer finish cracks. Email if you would like high resolution photos of the finish and wear marks. The neck selection toggle switch has been moved from the endplate to between the necks and replaced with a mini toggle (fastest and most convenient selector location I've ever used--see photos). Original hard shell case is in rough, but, still very usable condition (one broken clasp).
