This is a 1957 Martin 00-17 serial number 1593** solid mahogany acoustic guitar. You may also see my other vintage Martin, a 1937 Martin 0-17. Both are being relisted after Ebay booted them off due to a policy regarding my titles showing the difference between the 2 guitars. This guitar comes in an old soft shell case which may be, but I doubt, the original. She is available for sale in my store, so I reserve the right to cancel the auction if a local sale happens! This guitar came into my store with all original tuners (2 of which were broken), a bridge that was loose and lifted, a few loose frets, a  big ugly pickguard off of an old Yamaha, I think, and a Vintage Martin tone. The neck is beautifully straight, and has had no breaks, or repairs of any kind! I immediately took her to my good buddy and luthier, the well known John ''String King'' Mosconi, who owns our areas Gibson/Ovation factory repair center. John personally repairs all my stuff. After debating whether or not the finish is original (for a good bit of time), we decided that grandpa (I bought it from his estate) probably put a thin clear finish coat on it, but a long, long time ago, when he changed the pickguard. Much of that has worn off (hence the cause for debate. John removed the crappy wrong pickguard (still shows a bit of lighter area at the edge of the new pickguard where the old one was), replacing it with a ''new'' old guard from his parts bin. There are 2 small cracks in the side that John repaired and pronounced ''stable''. The bridge was removed,
