1979 Martin D-35 W/OHSC
If you want a guitar with great projection
this is the one. This guitar has been used and sometimes abused but is a great looking
and even better sounding instrument. It has had some of the bracing replaced,
and there is one ding just below the pickguard it also has a small crack from
underneath the pickguard, (under the high E) to the bridge. The back has some
finish checking cracks as well. As I said this guitar has been loved and played.
Since 1833, the Martin Guitar Company has
provided instruments of consistently high caliber to virtually a worldwide
Martin introduced the D35 with its 3 piece
back in 1965 as a result of a shortage of Brazilian Rosewood. This
allowed them to use up unmatched and small pieces that would have been
considered scrap material in previous years. They ceased using Brazilian
rosewood in standard production for complete sets of back and sides in 1969.
The Martin D-35 features a solid Mahogany neck, 20 fret Ebony
fingerboard with a 25.4'' scale length, solid Spruce top, Rosewood sides
and 3 piece back, Ebony bridge, White binding, White/Black/White back inlay and
