Not to much to say here but I will spit out what I can. This is a mid 70's Gibson L35 that was co-designed by Steve Klein So I have been told by several sources. Michael Kasha and Richard Schneider were the main guys at Gibson at the time IM not 100% sure about every detail here but it seams that Michel was the Brains behind a lot of gtr designs that we all take for granted and was friends with Steve and some were between things at gibson getting the thumbs up or down by Gibson Michel shared with Steve a few things (plans) and a few were brought back to the table about the design of this particular gtr. (take a close look at the bridge and the name Gibson L35 Klein L45?)! At the end of the day I think it is fare to say steve took more ideas away from Michel the then Michel did from Steve if any. The guitar is in great condition and comes with an OK hard case, plays and sounds great and I really should not sale her but Im just not playing her enough to justify keeping her not to mention I did just drop $20,000.00 on a Mike Greenfield custom. I also have a Steve Klein L45 (that I plan on selling for $23K) so IM some what qualified to compare the sound of both. IM sure these Guitars will only go up in value but in the mean time she is a great player that you can take out with out fear.
About the Gtr, Upper bout is upper is 16'' lower is 11 1/2'' she is 4 1/4 thick at the lower bout and 5'' at the upper the nut is 1 5/8'' Frets are in great shape. normal playing ware no buckle rash or anything all and all I would call her an 8.5. Tone woods I think to be mahogany wood back in sides with a spruce top. This is
