An early 1960's Gibson LGO offered here. I bought this on eBay a couple of years ago but am not playing it like I thought I would. I'm looking to replace it with a J-50. So, it's up for bids. I'm not a guitar expert so am doing the best I can with the description. It's a typical LGO made of mahogany and with the nice smaller sized body. It's great for hauling around to jam with friends. It 'does' have the dreaded plastic bridge that has two little 'dents' in it. You can see that from the pictures. I've been told by Elderly Instruments in Lansing, MI, that it is also missing a couple of braces and that it has a not-displaced small crack in the lower bout. I never noticed that 'til I took it in for evaluation. It plays great in spite of that and is in remarkably good shape for an over 40 yr old guitar. No reserve! Comes with a new hardshell case that it was shipped to me in and that keeps it safe. The case is really for a J sized guitar but it's so well padded with fleece that the LGO rests solidly and securely inside. I'll do the best I can with questions. According to Gibson's serial number info (and we know that's iffy, at best), this is probably a 1963. I'm not a retail outlet and don't want it back, so bid carefully as I'll not take returns on it. I much prefer PayPal! Thanks for looking!
