Law suit era Martin copy tenor guitar
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2008-12-03)
Price : US $135.12
This is a law suit era Martin copy tenor guitar with gig bag. The name on the head stock is Emperador and it was made in Japan ( the best woodworkers in the world) for the US market. It came from a music school and has suffered the scuffs and scratches of outrageous handling by generations of students, and there are some varnish checks, but no cracks in the wood. Number 14 is engraved on the back of the head stock, but overall it doesn't look too bad. The teacher obviously knew where he could get guitars for his school with Martin quality and sound for a fraction of the price. This does sound bright and beautiful. I saw an identical used Martin guitar on the wall of amusic store for $1,025. The bidding starts at 19. with no reserve.
