Vintage Guild Mark IV classical guitar. Nice rosewood back and sides with the more scarce red CEDAR top. Ebony fretboard, Brazilian bridge (looks to have been reglued at some time, but it's an excellent job). GREAT original vintage tuners....pretty sure they're Schallers. No cracks in the top back or sides. Nut and saddle are plastic...go figure. I hate to mention this because you probably wouldn't notice, but the headstock was broken when I bought it. The glue joint where the headstock meets the neck had popped, letting it cant forward. It was a very clean break and I did the repair work myself. I'm a WAY above average woodworker and have built a few guitars and I was a DuPont auto refinish jobber for nine years. SO the headstock is now strong and tight, and the refinish work is ONLY on the joints that I repaired, so over 99% of the headstock finish is still original, and is correct to the rest of the guitar. In other words, I didn't overfinish the headstock so that sticks out like a sore thumb. I'll be happy to send along large file pictures if you would like some extra detail. Original Guild case is included, the exterior is rough and the latches are rusty, but it's still a good solid archtop case. Please feel free to ask questions or request specific pictures. Please look at the other guitar that I'm selling and watch for a couple of more soon. Good luck.
