Left Handed Lefty Telestar Mona Guitar w/Amp Case
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2008-09-25)
Price : US $570.00
Up for bids is my rare lefty Telestar Mona w/ vintage style amp case. Basically a re-issue of the early 60's Silvertone guitars sold through Sears. Those guitars were never offered in left handed versions, but in the late 90's Telestar made things right for us lefties. These guitars were as good as the Danelectro re-issues, but lack of sales/promotion put them out of business after a few years. A shame considering Telestar was started by JT Robiloff, Gibson's famous R&D guy for many years. This is a super cool vintage style lefty. Made in Korea. ''Tonium'' composite hollow body in redburst w/ sparkles. 2 lipstick pickups (very similar to the Danelectros but not as bright, more mellow perhaps. 1 volume/1 tone/3 way toggle. Guitar is serial numbered. Amp case works fine, has an ac adapter or can be battery powered. Case comes with original Telestar pitchpipe (un-opened) & Telestar picks. I've maybe played the guitar twice, so it shows very little use if any, maybe some pick scratches on the guard. 9/10 condition. I just pulled it out & plugged it in to make sure everything still works & it does, no scratchy pots or switches, still has the original strings on it. It's a sweet guitar but it does nobody any good just sitting in my closet, so here it is, an opportunity to own a cool, rare lefty. Email with questions.
Auction open to US bidders only.
No deadbeat/excessive negative feedback bidders. Serious bidders only.
PAYPAL ONLY. Ship to confirmed address only. Payment due within 3 day
