Up for bid is my Korean made, 1999 Gibson Epiphone ES 335 Dot Neck in a Rare Heritage Cherry Sunburst Finish which is no longer available with this model. For a Guitar that's almost 10 years old, its condition is excellent and it's light in weight tipping the scale at 8.4 pounds. There are no Dings, dents, nicks, buckle rash, or worm marks of any sort. There are some very light scratches and feathering that show up as a result of gentle playing but these do not break the surface of the finish nor could I get them to show up in any of the photographs.

Because I am a Collector/Player, I generally deal with higher end instruments and would have normally disregarded this instrument, but this Guitar moved me. It had an indescribable quality that separated it from others that were just like it and piqued my curiosity. First of all, I'd never seen such a vibrant Cherry Sunburst finish on a 335 before, Gibson included. Upon closer inspection, I could see that both the top and back were figured with an attractive wavy grain pattern throughout the Maple. When I sat down to play it, the neck on this instrument felt and played just like an old friend, namely, my 1967 Gibson ES 335. It was slim with low action, had a very comfortable broken-in feel to it, and played easily up and down the entire neck. I could also get a consistently rich vibrato going past the 12th fret. In addition, it had a pair of Alnico II &n
