Fortunately for you, unfortunately for me, I have to sell most of my collection of guitars. I constructed this guitar because I couldn't afford a high end PRS with bird inlays. So I put this together and it has served me well. The body is Ibanez (I think I read in the neck pocket 435) it's an older model that they don't make anymore, never-the-less it has a very nice subtle flame on it. The neck is from IronFire, or something like that because it's been so long since I built it. It has abalone bird inlays on it and it has 24 frets. The frets have been filed down and still have a lot of meat on them. I also must add that the neck cavity of the body was shimmed to have the proper height and the neck to fit properly. - it doesn't look bad, and you can't even notice it unless you look for it. I enjoy playing this guitar, and I'll tell you why:
The neck is straight and the neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan 59 (7.97 ohms on my digital ohmeter) without the cover, and although the bridge pickup is not a name brand like Seymour Duncan or Dimarzio, it has been wax potted and the ohm rating is an excellent 15.42Ohms. Note: the pickups are originally black, however I painted the white portion so that they look like the zebra type. The tuners are new from PING.
There is a 3-way mini toggle switch for the bridge pickup that produces strat sounds like dual sound (parallel), single coil, and of course the humbucking sound. When you use the mini toggle switch for the bridge
