This is a Fender Toronado, serial number MN8113996 made in Mexico as part of the ''Deluxe Series'' which is generally made to higher quality specs than most standard model Fender guitars. This model was only manufactured from 1998 - 2003 making it an increasingly rare item, especially in this hard to find Blonde finish.
The Toronado features two humbucking ''atomic'' pickups, rosewood fretboard, a tortoise-shell pickguard and four chrome knobs (x2 volume, x2 tone). The headstock features the famous Fender ''spaghetti'' logo and sports vintage style Gotoh/Kluson tuners. The body shape shadows the older Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars. It has a 24 3/4'' scale length.
Notable players of the Toronado include John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mark Smith of Explosions in the Sky, Aaron Turner of Isis and many more.
