90's Marlboro cigarette giveaway guitar. This is the infamous one that has no markings, no dates and no serial number. The body is an Adirondack Spruce top and solid Rosewood back and sides. All I know is from taking this to the local Martin dealer and having them inspect it. They said the body is an exact D-28 copy but they did not know what the neck is from. Legend has that these are Martin Guitars that were put together from pieces and parts that did not make it through Martins rigid inspection process and sold to Marlboro to giveaway. This has one scratch on the front that can be seen in the picture and a couple small chips. This has great low action and all the tone you would expect from and an aged hardwood guitar. Original gig bag is included. There is no real way to say where or when this was made or what it really is but your looking at a great guitar for a lot less than the real one with the name and markings.

All Sales are final and sold as is. Please ask questions before you bid because once you bid you are bidding to own. Sorry to have to say this but people that want to shop by being the high bidder and blackmail your feedback to return an item have forced me to do businees like this. My feedback is 100% because I always try to say and do the right thing and be as honest as I can so bid with confidence and THANK YOU!!!

They are made buy Martin. Thease are unigue Guitar's and there we only like 3 made I heard. So they are very rare. The D 28 was made for Marlbro Company to do the cig promotions and the only way you could get it was buy saving up alot of the coupon's or bar codes on the cig packs. So yeah this guitar is unique and has more price value then this that they show hear. Well have a good day all.

Bought mine without knowing what it was. Adjusted the truss rod, for better action. Elixir 11052 installed and it sounds just great. No pressure on me to buy a Taylor of Martin, have a Signet and a Takimini, this covers both of those handily. Thanks Marlboro....let the cat out of the bag as to who made them someday. Cheers!
